Prof. LU Ke Elected as Foreign Member of NAE

On February 7th in the USA, the website of National Academy of Engineering (NAE) released the list of elected academicians of 2018. For discovery of nanotwinned materials and contributions to the advancement of nanostructured materials, Prof. LU Ke was elected as a foreign member of NAE.

After elected as the academician of the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) in 2004 and German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina in 2005, Prof. Lu, together with his contribution to the materials science, has once again been recognized and honored by foreign countries.

As a leading researcher in the field of nanostructured materials, Prof. Lu contributed to the advancement of materials science and engineering with world-class, trend-setting research.Prof. Lu has received numerous awards from around the world including the National Nature Science Award, the CAS Nature Science Award, Hasiguti Foundation Prize, the Third World Academy TWNSO Technology Prize, ISMANAM'98 Gold Medal and Junior Scientist Award, SCI Citation Classic Award (ISI), Ho-Leung-Ho-Lee Technology Science Award, Humboldt Research Award.
