Structured Catalytic Materials



With the aim of developing structural and functional integrated catalytic technology, the new principles and methods to construct and prepare the new generation of structured catalysts were developed, so that the four physical/chemical parameters of fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer and reaction can be synergistic at different time and space scales. The main research focus on study the relationship between the topology and thermal conductivity of the catalyst support and the heat/mass/momentum transfer; develop high-efficiency, low-cost preparation method of the catalysts with controlled morphology and structure; clarify the synergistic mechanism of precious metal active components and catalyst supports; explore the key technologies of industrial amplification of structured catalytic technology and related scientific issues.
