Introduction

Research Directions:
1.Quantum Properties of Topological Materials:
Study on the preparation of topological insulators, topological crystalline insulators, topological superconductors, topological semimetals and the characterization of their topological properties. Study on the interactions between topological orders and other orders such as superconductivity, magnetism to reveal the novel quantum properties.
2.Low-Dimensional Materials:
Investigation on the nanostructures of low-dimensional materials such as graphene, metal chalcogenide semiconductors.
3.Small Superconductors and Unconventional Superconductors:
Research areas includes topological superconductivity, interfacial superconductivity, correlation effect, superconducting proximity effect.
4.Exploration of Devices Based on Quantum Materials:
Study on the transport properties of quantum materials, the manipulation of quantum states, the fabrication of functional devices.
5.Physical-Property Calculation and Structural Design of Quantum Materials:
Theoretical study on the electronic and spin properties of quantum materials to understand the basic mechanisms of the quantum effects.
