Life at SYNL

Located in Hunnan District, Shenyang City, the new campus of Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science is now under construction. Only 5 km away from Shenyang Railway Station and 16 km away from the Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, the new campus with its convenient transportation, enjoyable environment and state-of-the-art facilities will meet the growing need of SYNL for its rapid development. The new campus covers a total area of 496,000 m², with 12 buildings for research and testing, libraries, laboratories, conference meeting, classrooms and dormitories. Phase I of the construction is to be completed by the second half of 2021, which will be able to accommodate around 2000 researchers and students.
