Focus on the architechured materials including gradient materials and metallic glasses. Successfully fabricated gradient materials in bulk form and achieved the optimum mechanical properties through controlling their grain size distribution. Based on the gradient structure, the crack propagation process and energy dissipation were also revealed. On the other hand, bulk metallic alloys with the largest critical size suitable for industrial application were found through the understanding the mechanism of glass formation and their design. Study the mechanical behavior of metallic glasses under the condition of homogeneous flow by suppressing shear banding.
