It is expected to establish the advanced platforms for material simulation and evaluation under extreme environments and provide ceramic material screening for near- and mid-term nuclear power systems. By comprehensive understanding irradiation-induced damage mechanism, the advanced ceramics with high concentrations intrinsic point defect sink have been developed. The integrated and gradient ceramic coatings were developed for advanced accident tolerant fuel system.
