Design and grow polarization-based oxide films, multilayers and superlattices with high potientials by high precision pulsed laser deposition technique; By means of advanced Cs-corrected transmission electron microscopy combined with both piezoresponse force microscopy and theoretical calculations (including first principles calculations and phase field simulations etc.), focus on the investigation of sub-angstrom level interfacial structural characteristics, explore novel interfacial effects and new modulation mechanisms of perovskited based oxide interfaces; underline the response of domain structures to the external fields; aim to span development from structure to property at an atomic level in ferroelectric interfaces.
